Colors Used: I love this yarn's Grey Beard, Hot Rose, Sungold, Peacock, and Ivory.

I've gone back and forth on whether or not I wanted to use this square for this blanket. I thought it might throw off the dynamic of the blanket with the grid effect.  It's such a fun little square. And if I didn't know horrible it would be, I would make a full blanket out of these little 2.5" squares. I'm not that crazy though. Ok maybe a baby blanket. ;)

Awful picture, pretty plain square. Nothing special tonight. I spent a lot of time this evening looking at vintage bedspread patterns and I'm very inspired! I'm working on converting some of them to be able to use for this project.

So I guess I have a few more from this book I want to do.

This one is way too big! These lacy squares throw off my gauge. I guess I should have stitched it with a G hook or something instead. I think I'll re-make this one and see what happens. I like this pattern though. Even in one color, the design pops.

So sorry I haven't posted this weekend's squares on time. I was at my parent's ranch and they don't have great internet which makes blogging really annoying. I'm catching up posts today. I spent a lot of my time this weekend on my Gran's Garden blanket. It's still not done. I have to finish the border and then it can get it's own special reveal post. My mom loved it though and almost cried when I told her it was her birthday present.

We're back to the first colorway. I'm busying myself making the filler squares for the Gran's Garden blanket. I'm hoping it will be ready to photograph next weekend. At the rate I'm going, it will be.

I love the triangles in this one. I think I'm finally getting to the point where I'm tired of using this book. I have some other books to start using so I may be moving away from this one at the end of this week.

I'm usually not a fan of grannies that aren't a little bit lacy, but I really like the rows of sc in this one. I did change the pattern and only stitched into the back loops of sc rows.
