Another one I accidentally made two of. This really demonstrates how different a square can look depending on where you change colors. The first one distinctly shows a flower and the second does not. I like each on in their own way.
I really love this square! I kind of wish I would have used the buttercup yellow color for the center of the flower, but I still really like it. This one really needed a good blocking when I was finished.
I found the afghan I was joining together this weekend. I only have one more row to add and the border until it is finished. Maybe I'll be able to work on it soon. I've had so many other projects lately though. It might have to wait another month.
Another boring monochromatic square. What was I thinking? This one is even the same color as the other one. Ok I'll tell you what I was thinking, "oh I've run out of 3 colors of yarn and I don't get paid for another two days... ok I'll just make this one all in green."
So I decided to brighten this one up a bit by making the popcorns different colors. This is pretty easy, but not for the faint of heart when it comes to weaving in ends. Thankfully these popcorns were close enough that I was able to do them with the same strand of yarn on each side.
