I can't believe I've made it this far! I don't have a giveaway for this milestone, because it totally snuck up on me. But I did want to share my 200 days of grannies mosaic with you. I know you all enjoy seeing everything laid out together.
Crazy huh?! I have some exciting things coming in September, so I'll have a giveaway then. How does that sound?
I think I'm going for the tiny squares out of this book first. After spending hours upon hours on potholders last week, my wrists need the rest.

OMG I just realized this is my halfway point!!! well, 182.5 is the halfway point. What a great feeling!!! No wonder I've been feeling blah about this project lately, I'm at the point where I'd normally want to move on to something else. I'm not usually devoted to one craft for more than 6 months at a time. Here's to 6 more months and 162 more granny squares!
Colors Used: I love this yarn's Gray Mist, Turquoise, and Yellow.
Another happy square. this is a really easy pattern with pretty stunning results. I finished the baby blanket that uses this color palette last night :) I can't wait to show it to you!!! You'll have to wait a couple of days though because I haven't finished showing you the squares for it yet. I worked ahead because it has to go to it's recipient soon.
Just in case you're scared of the 12" squares, don't be... they make the easiest baby blanket ever!!! if you're making a square a day, all you need is 16 days to make a beautiful and big baby blanket. I'll share the way I joined my first baby blanket and the edging I used. The joining and edging only took a couple of evenings. I've never felt so good about making a blanket before!
Since this is the last day of May, here's a calendar view of all the squares...
I made it through 100 days of my 365 project! This is soo exciting for me and I want to share my excitement with you all with a little giveaway.
One lucky reader will win my very favorite crochet hook (Susan Bates bamboo handled hook size H) and 3 skeins of I love this yarn in my favorite colors: Sungold, Hot Rose, and Peacock. These also happened to be my wedding colors :)
You'll get a brand new hook, I just haven't been to the store yet.
All you have to do to win is leave a comment below telling me what your favorite granny square I've made so far is (you can just say the number if you want). I'm curious what your favorites are. You can easily see them all on my flickr set.
One entry per person. Make sure you put your e-mail in the form so I can contact you if you win. I'll close the comments Tuesday, May 3rd at 9pm central and will announce the winner on Wednesday, May 4th (after 5pm). Tell your friends!
