Well I managed to feel worse this weekend than I thought I would. I think it was a combo of my body getting back at me for pushing it too hard last week and me knowing I didn't have to do anything so I gave in. I think my antibiotics are finally kicking in though, which is very exciting. So instead of my list, I did a lot of resting, spent time playing more Lego Harry Potter than I probably should have, and made sure a lot of cuddling on the couch happened with the dogs. The rainy weather we had this weekend made everything just a little more lazy around here.
I did catch up my crochet school posts which was a huge goal achieved! Here's a little behind the scenes look:
I made a wishlist of all the things I need to continue making awesome video tutorials. Right now things are barely working correctly haha. When the textbook comes out for crochet school, I would GREATLY appreciate it if you students would buy one to help support more classes like crochet school. The first thing on the list -- Faster internet service. We have the fastest service our phone provider offers so I think we're going to make the switch to cable after Christmas. I've been wanting to do this for a long time and I know Sheldon will be thrilled to finally have cable television as well.
So I'm writing this at about 1am on Sunday night. I have to be up at 5 for work tomorrow (or today when you'll be reading this) and I cannot sleep to save my life. It must be the meds I'm on. That and I always freak out when I have to wake up early and then I only get 3 hours of sleep. Monday is the biggest day of the year for my department at work. We host the staff development day every year and spend many months in preparation for this one day. It's really fun and I'm excited about it being over haha. The theme this year is "under the big top" so my co-worker and I had a great time with decorating and brainstorming. There are lots of red and white stripes and mustaches. If I think about it, I'll take some photos while we're setting everything up. Check my instagram for them.
