Another square with the puff stitch. Still my favorite new stitch :)
Ok back to the Gran's Garden Blanket. I have 38 more squares to weave in ends on and then I connect them.

I'm making these squares with all of the 12 colors that were used in the gran's garden flowers. While I had 25 flowers to make in 25 days, I've had 31 days to make about 60 of these filler squares. That has made me one busy lady!
I've been doing them in chunks.
Starting with making all of the different colors in the middle:
Then I added the taupe to all of them. Then the Linen.
I finished the linen on all of them two nights ago...
Now all I have left is the sc of dark raspberry around them and weaving in ends. Then I can connect them!!!
I need to have this blanket finished by Friday. I'm pretty sure I can do it, but I need to get stitching instead of typing on this blog.

I love this one so much!! I'm posting this a day late because I finished this square at 11:30 last night. I posted a photo to flickr from my phone right after I finished stitching it because I was so proud to actually get it finished before the day was over.
I spent all evening making cupcakes so there was no time for crocheting. I like having time to make my squares. Also, I'm working so hard to finish the grans garden blanket by Friday. It's not looking good right now. More on that for today's post coming up next!

We're back to the first colorway. I'm busying myself making the filler squares for the Gran's Garden blanket. I'm hoping it will be ready to photograph next weekend. At the rate I'm going, it will be.
I love the triangles in this one. I think I'm finally getting to the point where I'm tired of using this book. I have some other books to start using so I may be moving away from this one at the end of this week.

This is definitely the tiniest flower of the bunch. I thought I did something wrong at first, but no, it's just a little thing. I stretched the heck out of him though and he looks best amonst his friends now.

I love mustard and brown together! This is the only flower in this book with those two together. Tomorrow is the last day of these squares! I'm hoping to finish the blanket by next weekend. I still have quite a few of the filler squares to finsih. We'll see how it goes :)

Colors Used: I love this yarn's Dark Raspberry, Linen, Antique Taupe, Sungold, Cranberry, and Aubergine.
This flower is really different from all of the other flowers in this book. It has more of a 60's/70's flower vibe going for it, which I like. I could see a whole blanket made out of this square alone in a bunch of wild colors.
I started working on the filler squares for the blanket I'm making out of these squares this weekend. The whole blanket will have 90 squares total so I have quite a few filler squares to make up the difference. I'm really excited though. It's going to be beautiful all put together!
