161/365 - Raspberry Medallion Square

Pattern: Raspberry Medallion Square by Sally Ives

Hook used: H

Yarn Used: Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn in  Grey Beard, Hot Rose, Ivory, Old Leaf, and Peacock.

Finished size: 8"

I had issues with this pattern, but I think it was just general exhaustion and not paying attention. It's not that hard. I really like the texture this pattern creates. 

Well I looked and I have 12 more squares to make for this blanket! Exciting right?! 

And since this is the last day of the month, I have a calendar view of this month's grannies.

160/365 - Versatile Granny

Yarn Used: Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn in  Grey Beard, Peacock, Old Leaf, and Hot Rose. 

Finished size: 8"

These patterns just keep getting better and better! This is another 6" square turned 8 inches with a couple more rounds. I really can't wait to finish this blanket. I should probably count and see how many more I need. 

159/365 - Friend Family Square

Pattern: Friend Family Square by Christal Friend

Yarn Used: Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn in  Grey Beard and Sungold.

Finished size: 8"

I added a couple of rounds to make this one 8 inches. It's originally a 6" square. I really really love this pattern. It's very easy and has a ton of color options. She has a photo that shows how the square will look with different color changes, which I love when designers share. 

158/365 - Obscured Flower Granny Square

Finished size: 8"

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this one. The original looks much better than mine. More full... Maybe because she used a dk weight yarn and an H hook. 

157/365 - Something Pretty

Finished size: 8"

This one was a little too small so I added the pink border from the Crown Jewels Square. It also adds an interesting design element. I like it!

 

156/365 - Millie's Puffed Ring Square

Yarn Used: Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn in  Grey Beard, Hot Rose, and Peacock.

Finished size: 8"

Puff Stitch, my favorite! I had to add a few rounds to this one to mke it 8 inches. The original square ends right before the pink round. The rest I just improvised. 

155/365 - Sunscape

I am completely in love with this square! I think it is lovely in one color but even prettier in multiple colors.

 

Granny Squares coming this weekend!

My camera battery died and the charger is at a relative's house who lives just far enough away that I can't just pop over and get it. So granny close ups just aren't happening at the moment. They're getting made, just not blogged. Blogging is hard (pout).

154/365 - Drops 13-20 blanket

Finished size: 8"

I really like this square in one color and the full blanket it makes. It's very airy and lacy and would make for a great spring throw. 

153/365 - Mesh Fantasy

Pattern: #53 Mesh Fantasy from 200 Crochet Blocks for blankets, throws, and afghans by Jan Eaton

Hook used: H

Colors Used: I love this yarn's Grey Beard, Peacock, Hot Rose, and Sungold.

I really like the construction of this square. The mesh in the middle makes for a really neat looking design. 

I got my battery charger back! So I'm working on getting the old posts from this week posted.
