I was originally only going to make the square patterns from this book, but when I got to this hexagon, I thought, maybe I can take my connecting color (antique white) and turn it into a quadrilateral. It worked pretty well. I think I need to work on this technique a little more before it's perfected. And this book has 9 more hexagon patterns so I think I will have perfected it by then! Now I just need to figure out how to turn the triangle one into a square.
