Colors Used: I love this yarn's Limelight and Brown

28th square for the  Square a Day in May. 

I'm not a fan of peace signs. I LOVED them when I was 10 so I guess I think of them as juvenile now.  Besides that fact, this was a pretty great pattern for practicing color changes and fairly technically difficult. I really should have used an I hook, in fact, I'm realizing I should probably be using an I hook instead of an H for most of these squares. Oh well, they're still working out. 

119/365 - LadyBug

Colors Used: I love this yarn's Red, Black and Grey Mist.

19th square for the  Square a Day in May. 

I only made this square because it was part of the square a day in May. The pattern is written well and everything  but I just wasn't feeling the ladybug. So I opted to just make it the size written and out of normal ladybug colors and call it a day.

It's actually really cute and if I felt it would work in with the blankets I was making I would use it. Maybe I'll just make a blanket out of it for one of my nieces one day. Anna is very fond of Ladybugs. 

FYI I'm leaving for Austin, TX today to go on a mini vacation. We went to renegade last year and had such a blast we decided to go again. We are also planning on eating lots of good food and seeing Junior Brown at The Continental while we're there. With that said, I'll be making my grannies but I probably won't be posting them while I'm away. I need a real vacation. I'm tired and need to be refreshed and "unplugged" for a while.
