I love African Mandala squares! They are just too pretty. I also really enjoy this pattern. It's super easy. I have to say my favorite cotton yarn right now is the knitpicks simply cotton. It is just soo soft and easy to crochet with. I wish I had more of it. 

180/365 - Tribble Trivet

Yarn Used: Hobby Lobby's I love this Cotton in Red and Turquoise. 

I had issues with this pattern. Thankfully, it turned out really cute, but not without a little cussing. When I made the pattern as written. I ended up with a coaster. Cute but not what I was looking for. So I used a bigger hook, added some more rounds and ended up here. I had to block it, but it's working. Sheldon asked if it was a Spiderman web potholder. Gotta love him.

Yarn Used: Sugar and Cream Cotton Yarn in  Robins Egg Blue, Soft Ecru, and Tangerine. 

They just keep getting better! Last night, my friend Levi suggested I make the grape potholders. I wasn't sure what he was talking about so I went looking. I assume he meant something like this but when I saw this pattern I had to make it.  You all know how much I love the popcorn stitch!

Yarn Used: Sugar and Cream Cotton Yarn in Yellow, Rose Pink, Jute, Robins Egg Blue , Tangerine, and White.

This potholder is my reason for doing potholder week. It's just as perfect as I dreamed it would be! However, I must say Sugar and  Cream yarn is the bane of my existence as a crocheter. I hate it so much. It doesn't feel good to crochet (or knit) with and it hurts my wrists every time I use it. I went and got some I love this cotton from Hobby Lobby tonight to use the rest of the week.

The little ruffles on this one drew my attention. I love how cute potholders are!

I love this pattern. This one makes more of a trivet because of how thick it is, but it will probably just be a pretty decoration to hang. I like potholder week already :)
