I've said before that I love how rows of V stitches look like zig zags and this is another good use of that technique. I also like the mandala type flower in the middle of this one.
I've had some questions about blocking so I thought I'd show you how I block my squares in a video. This was my first time actually using the video function on my camera and I guess I didn't get it focused well beforehand because this is fuzz city. Sheldon is quite the videographer so I think from now on he'll be my camera guy.

Oh and FYI I meant to say this in the video about the blocking board. You can use anything. Towels stacked up, your ironing board cover, some foam core boards, anything that will hold pins. I use the interlocking boards because I like the way you can lock them together in any shape you want which is great for when I knit long scarves or sweaters. These are the ones I have and they are 9 for $20 not 14 like I said in the video. The most I've ever pulled out of the box at a time is 4.
