Tonight I made cupcakes! Vegan cupcakes even, from the This book! They are incredibly yummy. Tomorrow is my supervisor's birthday so I offered to make the cake. I made the basic vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and the chocolate butter cream icing. I filled them with some store bought raspberry filling that I like. The book is awesome and the recipes all look amazingly delicious. And as a side note... no, I'm not vegan, but I am lactose intolerant and dairy free kind of makes my heart skip a beat. My mom makes cakes and decorates them as a side gig, she would be proud if she were here to see them.
