My little Meat Pie

So I thought that I would share some better pictures of Bella in her costume, since the other ones kind of sucked. So here you go... Happy Halloween... super cuteness of death...

I finished my costume just in time to wear it to the parade on Saturday.

I haven't done this much sewing in years. It helps that I have a new sewing machine. Technically, I've had it since May and it has been in a box since then. I know, I dare to call myself a craftyminx.

I think Bella's meat pie costume is my favorite.

She was definitely the one that people stopped to oogle at. I have a cute little girl.

The parade was great fun and I was glad to see that so many crafty types were out there making their own costumes and what not. My favorite by far were the Tornado Alley Rollergirls and their circus oddities float.

Genius! And this is only a few of them. They had every oddity present. Very cute.

All in all it was a great night. I wish I had decided to be in the parade with the library, but I figured for my first year going, it would be fun to watch. Next year though... watch out.

Costumes...

I've been working on Bella's and my costume for a few weeks now. It is coming along quite nicely. I'm trying to finish it in time to wear it to the Ghouls Gone Wild Parade this Saturday. That is when you will get full pictures. As of now, Bella's costume is pretty much finished. It still needs some fingers glued in.

She only kind of hates it.

I had to come home sick today (damn allergies and sinuses) and I've been hand sewing on trim for my shirt for about an hour. I'm going to have to stop for the day though, because my head started hurting again.

I'm still alive...

Just crazy busy doing non-exciting things like school work and unpacking. I do have a couple of announcements though. The next few months are full of exciting things in Oklahoma City. 

  The Girlie Show is November 7-8 this year.  I won't be set up there, but I will be there because it is a great show and I have art work to buy for my new house :).

I will of course be set up at this show with bootyJ Crochet and I will be baking for this one too so bring your monies. There will also be recycled gift wrapping available to holiday shoppers.

 

I'll be at this one with bootyJ too. I'm really excited about holiday shows :)

And of course don't forget Live on the Plaza in front of Bad Grannies Bazaar every 2nd Friday from 6ish - 11pm. I will be set up at as many of these as I can.

Like I said TONS of things! There are also a lot of other events, but these are the ones close to my heart.
