I don't have much to share today, but I thought I should pop in and say hi since I probably won't be blogging this weekend. I have so many things to do and not much time to get them done. It was really horrible timing for us to get a puppy. I can't do anything because he is ALWAYS getting in to something, trying to piss off Dewey, or finding a place to do his outside business in the house. And he's not content being left with Sheldon. He has to play with me and be able to see me or he cries non-stop--I have officially become his momma. I cannot wait for him to grow out of this puppy stage and just be a normal high-energy dog. When he's not being a monster, and can be calmed down enough to pay attention, he's really really smart! He learned how to sit with like five tries and now we're working on "come" and "drop it". I'm looking forward to some studio time this weekend. Since he sleeps most of the day while we're at work, I'm hoping it will be the same for the days we are there so I can get some stuff done (crossing my fingers).
I really didn't intend on blogging a rant about the puppy this morning, see that's how scatter-brained I am right now! I did intend to share my weekend to-do list so I'd hopefully have some "weekend workings" to share on Monday.
- Finish my article for the fall issue of Motif Magazine.
- Make crocheted bows for Meg and her OSU fans. (football season is way too close!)
- Do at least two Crochet school videos
- Paint the last 5 icons so I can start embroidering them.
- Print out and assemble the blog organizer I designed for myself.
- Paint my nails -- Nyan cat is getting old.
- Teach Dash to lay down.
- Buy Dash a new crate -- He kind of fit in Bella's crate, but now it's way too small.
- Buy a puppy gate
- Make cupcakes for family day Sunday.
So the list is way too long, but I can dream that I'll be that productive right? Really, If I get the Motif article finished, I'll be happy. Wish me luck! What's on your weekend to-do list?
