How's everyone's progress coming along on crochet school? I popped into the flickr group today and saw some really great looking swatches, circles, and granny squares. I'm so proud of you guys!!! Things on my end are still really busy. Thankfully the Halloween stuff is over and I've been working on the last few lessons. I ran in to a snag with the next two lessons because they are about reading patterns and because of copyright reasons I decided to just write a pattern for us all to use. So that's what I've been up to the last few days. Nothing like adding a big project into the middle of everything right?
Want a peek at the pattern?
It took me quite a while to figure out what to design that would use a big enough portion of what we've learned so far and not be too intimidating. They're not super cutesy or anything, but they are warm and a perfect beginner project that you can probably make a few pairs of for people for Christmas if you want to. I'm filming the next three lessons tomorrow. If my computer and internet cooperate the next lesson could be up by tomorrow evening at the earliest.
I guess I should let you know that these wrist warmers use a number 4 (medium worsted weight) yarn and an H hook in case you want to get a different color or something to make them with. I used Stitch Nation Bamboo Ewe yarn for mine. It is soo soft and squishy.
See you soon!
