Just a quick little update on the shop. I have added international shipping. I'm shipping out the first shipment this morning and then I'll ship again on Saturday morning. While I was looking for my shipping supplies I found a box of more stock to sell so I'll be adding pom pom garlands and some embroidered items and vintage sheet burp clothes this weekend.

This week's supply is kind of a wildcard. I want you all to recycle something for your supply. It can be leftovers from another project (like the pictured yarn ends) or something else in your house that you want to recyle for a project. Be creative!!

Remember when I announced that I wouldn't be doing any more shows and would be selling off my old stock? Well, I've been working on getting everything online and I'm almost ready to open up the online store with leftover stock. I thought I'd go ahead and direct you all to the store so you all can see what's available. I'll open the shop at 8am (central) next Monday the 26th.
Everything but hats are the in the shop right now. I have adult and children's hats to add over the weekend.
Right now I'm just setting up the shop with US shipping. If you don't live in the US and see something you want to buy, leave a comment with where you live so I can update the shipping for you before Monday. Or maybe I can set up the shop to use paypal shipping so it's easier to do international shipping.
If you wish to support me and the website, please consider buying something. I really need to get all of this stuff out of my house. I will leave up the handmade items for a few weeks then start adding supplies and perhaps some of my vintage sheet stash ;)
In other news, my new job is great! I got to answer my first reference question on Tuesday and kind of squealed on the inside. I have my first young adult program this Saturday so that is very exciting. Tonight my friend Meg and I are going to see the Hunger Games at midnight. I loved the books so I'm super excited even though I'm going to be sooo tired at work on Friday. We've been having internet problems since last week and now I've realized that our phone wiring is messed up so I'm trying to get it fixed but it could take awhile :(. That's why I've been quiet on Twitter and haven't played Draw Something if you have a game started with me. I'll try to pop in on the blog before Sunday.

This week's supply is Buttons! I'm a true life button hoarder. My favorites are the brightly colored plastic ones, but I don't discriminate which buttons are added to my stash. Since I have so many I thought this would be a great supply for the challenge so I could get some ideas for using my collection.

I hope to accomplish these things:
on audiobook. I read Fire (Graceling)
earlier this year because it's a companion book but now I'm wishing I would have read Graceling first. Oh well. I also have two other audiobooks waiting -- The Night Circus
and Ready Player One
. I'm very excited about both of these. All of my YA librarian friends have been going crazy for Ready Player One so I can't wait to "read" it. I listen to a majority of the books I read because they allow me to read while I craft or do computer work and with my new long commute I'm going to get to listen to even more audiobooks.BTW look how big Dash is! He is almost 20 lbs now and that is pretty big for a Jack Russell (he was the pick of the litter though). He's so handsome and usually pretty sweet. He's a little ball of energy and loves running in the back yard and playing fetch. He still nips when he gets too excited but at least all the puppy teeth are gone! He sleeps with us now even though he enjoys his crate. I enjoy him keeping my feet warm at night!

I'm having an incredibly hard time focusing today. Thankfully, I have been doing a lot of "this is how to do my job" videos and document writing so I don't have to be super focused. So I thought I'd take a little break this afternoon to blog about things on my mind so maybe the daydreaming and mind racing will subside for the rest of the afternoon.
There's a few more small things that I'm thinking about too, like new craft projects, things I absolutely can't forget to do before I leave my office, how we could manage to fit a new queen size bed in one of our bedrooms, and other crazy things. I've said it before, my brain is a dangerous place.
Ok, so maybe now I can focus! Have a happy Wednesday everyone!

Sorry I'm a day late. We have had a 4-day weekend and I didn't realize it was Sunday yesterday until the light was leaving. I've completed all the posts for the rest of the month so that won't happen again!
This week's supply is (surprise, surprise) Glitter! Not only a favorite supply of mine, but one of my favorite things in the entire world. I'm really passionate about glitter. You don't have to use loose glitter. You can use glitter glue, glitter paint, glitter paper -- anything that has glitter.
